In an unusual speech to hundreds of US military personnel from around the world, Trump described “civil unrest” and the “enemy from within” as the dominant scenario in America, knowing for sure from information from the country’s intelligence services what is coming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This comes after Trump deployed National Guard troops to Washington, Los Angeles and Portland, Oregon, in an effort to suppress crime and support immigration enforcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also spoke, declaring an end to the “woke” culture at the Pentagon and announcing new “masculine” fitness standards for military personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trump repeated his criticism of the dire state of Democratic-led American cities, such as San Francisco, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles, and indicated that he would continue his policy of using the military for law enforcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThese are very dangerous places and we will fix them one by one,\u201d he said, adding that it would be \u201can important piece for some of the people in this room.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis is a war from within. Controlling the physical territory of our borders is essential to national security. We cannot let these people in,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Security was extremely tight during Trump\u2019s speech at Marine Corps Base Quantico, a sprawling 55,000-acre facility in Virginia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The summit represented a rare gathering of so many senior officials in one place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Generals and admirals stationed around the world listened to the direction of the country\u2019s political leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event began with a speech by Hegseth, who announced that the U.S. military would require combatants to meet the \u201chighest standard of masculinity\u201d in physical fitness tests. Hegseth acknowledged that the move could exclude some women from the service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trump, who spoke afterward, agreed with the same way. His speech focused on the U.S. military\u2019s culture, training, leadership and \u201ccorrecting decades of decline,\u201d including DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) programs and promoting a \u201crisk-averse\u201d officer corps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said these officers were focused on \u201cthe distractions of climate change,\u201d \u201cthe garbage,\u201d and fears of being labeled \u201ctoxic\u201d leaders, instead of their primary mission, which is preparing for war with every potential enemy of the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trump also applauded his Defense Secretary\u2019s move to rename the Defense Department the War Department. He said the secondary title for the Pentagon was \u201cso popular,\u201d even among its critics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trump took the stage at the meeting, joking, \u201cI\u2019ve never walked into a room so quiet before.\u201d He went on to comment, \u201cTogether, we\u2019re reawakening the warrior spirit.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before the event, U.S. Vice President J. D. Vance accused the media of turning the meeting into a \u201cbig story,\u201d noting that it was \u201cnot particularly unusual\u201d for Hegemony\u2019s generals to meet him in person. Some observers disagreed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The attendees reportedly included officers from military installations in Europe, South Korea, and the Middle East. Many of them arrived hours before the event and sat in the auditorium in order of seniority: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Space Force, easily recognizable by their uniforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some wore campaign medals indicating they had served in Afghanistan, Iraq, or the broader American war on terror that began after the September 11, 2001 attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Will Europe\u2019s turn come next?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We recall that in a speech full of accusations and warnings at the UN General Assembly on September 23, 2025, President Donald Trump turned on Europe, describing uncontrolled immigration and climate policies as a \u201cdouble-tailed monster\u201d that is \u201cdestroying your legacy.\u201d \u201cIf you don\u2019t stop people you\u2019ve never seen before, your country will fail,\u201d he said, addressing European leaders directly, adding: \u201cYou want to be politically correct and you\u2019re destroying your heritage.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n His reference to Greece, where 54% of prisoners are foreign nationals or immigrants, according to the Council of Europe, was not coincidental; on the contrary, it was a stark reminder of the dangers lurking behind the open policy of European Union leaders, threatening to turn the continent into a field of social and economic collapse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Greece is facing thousands of arrivals overloading islands such as Gavdos, and crimes linked to immigrants, and faces a great danger that it can no longer ignore.
