The history of the Middle East is extremely charged and does not allow for excessive expectations and optimism that peace will prevail. However, in the familiar style, the American president is violently shuffling the deck, seeking to create new conditions on the ground. He went so far as to open the door to Iran, at least in the future, for joining the Abraham Accords, indirectly announcing intervention on this front as well, always in the same style\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ultimately, if there is a remote possibility of drastically changing the landscape in the Middle East, it is through the peculiar \u201cbullying\u201d of the real \u201cpower broker\u201d in the region, the United States. However, this outcome was led by the use of military force in the most ruthless way that humanity has seen since World War II. The implementation of the agreement certainly leaves a lot of room for deviation. However, in principle, this agreement is truly historic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the statements, it became apparent that there was a prior understanding that the two leaders would not accept questions. \u201cLet\u2019s settle the issue first,\u201d Netanyahu said characteristically in response to Trump\u2019s \u201csuggestion\u201d not to answer questions. \u201cWe will have a long time to answer questions,\u201d he added. It is obvious that despite the eulogies and mutual congratulations from one to the other, both leaders realize that implementation is much more difficult than declarations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump\u2019s reference to a multitude of Arab leaders, as well as others from the Islamic world, including Turkish Erdogan, whom Trump did not fail to describe as his friend again, made an impression. He also added the leaderships of Indonesia and Pakistan, in proof that the \u201cCourt of Miracles\u201d called the Middle East has outside interventions, with everyone who intervenes, openly or covertly, having their own Agenda. Mainly \u201cIslamic-type\u201d\u2026 A few days ago, of course, the defense agreement between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan fell through\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump had a good thing to say about the leaders of the Gulf monarchies (Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar), while he added the king of Jordan and the president of Egypt. And he \u201ccharged\u201d them with the responsibility of controlling Hamas, because if they do not do so\u2026 Trump pledged that if the terms of the peace that were agreed upon are not respected, the Israelis will have his full support to achieve these goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe hard way\u201d, as Netanyahu said a little later, although he advocated achieving it \u201cthe easy way\u201d, the diplomatic one. Trump had preceded him with his dithyramb: Netanyahu is a warrior and Israel is lucky to have him! Who ensured that the new \u201cadministration\u201d in Gaza would have no connection with either the Palestinian Authority or Hamas. And he did not hesitate to declare his opposition to the establishment of a Palestinian state at this stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the US president characterizes the UN as \u201ccorrupt\u201d and takes it out of the picture, we are obviously faced with a world that is changing rapidly\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n
