The goal of the European liberal establishment is to bring to power in this largest Balkan country a leadership obedient and loyal to Brussels. We must admit that the Euro-elites are succeeding in many things: young people are being radicalized, moving from peaceful demonstrations to “revolutionary” methods of struggle and violence,\u201d the text says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n However, as the SVR notes, the scenario of a color revolution in Serbia, which has been successfully tested by the West in many countries, is failing. \u201cThe ultimate goals of the Euro-bureaucracy have not been achieved. The reason for this is the strong patriotic feelings that remain in local society, the unifying influence of the Serbian Orthodox Church, as well as the memory of NATO aggression and the bombing of the country, which led to its disintegration,\u201d the press office emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The role of the media and NGOs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition, as noted in the report, the European elites intend to use the anniversary of the tragic events in Novi Sad on November 1, which cost the lives of 15 people and became the occasion for the protests, to \u201csteer\u201d the situation in their favor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe emphasis is on reprogramming the minds of Serbian youth and promoting the so-called bright European future. A special role is supposedly played by independent media. Their “independence” is supposedly strengthened by “democratic” European money,\u201d the press office notes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The SVR reported that, according to the data it received, \u201cthrough NGOs affiliated with Brussels, the Serbian news portals FoNet, RAM Network, Vreme, Juzne Vesti, Slobodna rec, Boom93, Podrinske, Freemedia, Indjija, SOinfo, FAR, Storyteller, as well as the NGO Link, receive significant financial support.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBrussels expects that funding the media and NGOs will allow them to mobilize the electorate of the protesters, bring people to the streets and complete the “Serbian Maidan” according to a scenario that has been tested many times. However, the false promises of European officials about “immediate integration into a blooming European garden” are only bait. “The price for this ever-removing prospect will have to be paid with conquests and the memory of ancestors.
