The deal would add 218 branches to Santander\u2019s existing UK network of 349 branches and \u00a335 billion in customer deposits to the current \u00a3183 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The enlarged company would be the UK\u2019s third-largest bank by personal current account balances and the fourth-largest by mortgage value, Santander said.
