The 7 main fronts where the Russians are conducting offensive operations are:

1) Pokrovsk. The Russians are advancing at a rate of a few dozen meters per day. The trapped Russian-speaking residents have been waiting for their liberation since last August.

2) Lyman and Siversk. The former was retaken by the Ukrainians in 2022 and since then the Russians have been trying to return while the Russian-speaking population is suffering

3) Kupyansk. There is some movement with the Russians gathering forces, but that’s it.

4) In Sumy region, the Russians captured 3 villages in 24 hours and the distance from Sumy city has been reduced to 22 kilometers.

5) They are approaching Kostyantynivka but it seems that the clearing of Chasiv Yar and Toretsk is taking a long time. Certainly all of June or even July

6) They have finally entered Mala Tokmachka southeast of Orikhiv and are approaching Zaporizhia. At this rate, the latter will not fall before several years have passed because it is also inhabited by 1 million inhabitants

7) Novopavlivka, which is located in the Dnipropetrovsk region, is also under strong Russian pressure

At the same time, some Russian “slices of territory” in Kursk remain under Ukrainian occupation, as is the case in Belgorod. Strategically insignificant areas, but the point is that the Russians have not completely “loosened” them.

The reality is that the Russians do not yet have the forces to advance as quickly as they would like, and it is questionable whether the 160,000 men whose mobilization is completed in June will be enough to decisively break through the Ukrainian defense.

The Russians “refuse” to act operationally with “wedges” to break through the Ukrainian front and large mechanized forces, perhaps because these forces cannot be moved without being noticed and certainly, as V. Putin himself recently admitted, they do not want any more losses.

And the Ukrainians are simply trying to “patch up their holes as best they can” knowing that in the medium-long term they have no hope…

The definition of a war of attrition or a “frozen front” as noted by the Liberal Globe on April 16…

The appearances of systems such as the improved Geran-2 unmanned aerial vehicle (an evolution of the Iranian Shahed-136) in a strike on a Ukrainian Army weapons depot are attracting attention, but the two adversaries often exchange such strikes.

As we can see in the video, the strike was so direct that the drone fell like a comet towards its target.

https://twitter.com/i/status/1928170761040105655

The Russian Army is still advancing slowly, but steadily, gaining a few hundred meters or a few kilometers every day on a front that…

[2362,7,3830
58,1156,1976,3395
post-24563","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-military-science","category-research","category-war-in-ukraine","tag-russia","tag-ukraine","tag-war","tag-war-in-ukraine
["GET
