US President Donald Trump has signed nearly 200 executive orders that do not require congressional approval since taking office. Among the most significant is a call to withdraw the United States from the World Health Organization (WHO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his speech, Trump highlighted the organization\u2019s horrific crimes during the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as other global health crises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The US president, while not directly mentioning it, alluded to the infamous Pandemic Control Treaty and the recently revised International Health Regulations (IHR), which were imposed on all 194 WHO member countries. In addition, Trump said the WHO failed to act independently of \u201cimproper political influence from WHO member states\u201d by demanding \u201cunreasonably large payments\u201d from the US, which were disproportionate to the contributions of other major countries such as China (about a third), despite having a population four times larger than the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The United States is currently the largest donor to the WHO, contributing 22%, or $6.8 billion for 2024-2025, and China contributes about 15%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It should be noted that, in the case of the WHO, contributions from member countries are insignificant, considering that up to 87% of the organization\u2019s total budget (the money it has) comes from private sources such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, major pharmaceutical companies, GAVI (the Vaccine Alliance – about 20 companies), whose offices are located across from the WHO, IT companies and other interested businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This private influence constitutes a blatant conflict of interest and may also have contributed to President Trump\u2019s decision to withdraw from the WHO, which pretends to serve the public interest while in reality it is charged with representing the interests of its private donors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pandemic Treaty<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Let us return, however, to the Pandemic Treaty and the revised IHR. Since it never passed a mandatory vote at the World Health Assembly \u2013 neither in May 2023 nor in May 2024 \u2013 the matter was referred to the UN General Assembly last September. September 20 and 21 were scheduled for semi-latent discussions on the Pandemic Treaty and the new IHR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Since it was not possible to reach a consensus, the UN General Assembly decided on the well-known, insidious and undemocratic procedure of \u201capproval\u201d by non-objection. None of the 193 UN members dared to object. Thus, the new IHR, which incorporates the basic criteria of the Pandemic Treaty, was approved as a pact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Although it is legally binding, it has some flexibilities that allow countries to circumvent its rules in special circumstances. In addition, countries have until the end of 2025 to ratify or reject the pact. From this point on, it becomes difficult to outline the extent of the WHO fiasco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is not clear how many countries have and could ratify the pact\u2014probably not many\u2014but the overall picture remains deliberately vague. The general silence is the public information about this WHO disaster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n No nation wants to cede its health sovereignty to a dictator, such as the WHO, with incredible powers granted by the UN to the incompetent Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, whom Bill Gates, a major donor to the WHO, nominated for the position. How could the WHO General Assembly say no?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mr. Trump\u2019s decision came as no surprise. As early as December 2024, his \u201ctransition team\u201d had been pushing for a withdrawal from the WHO, and so it was. US law requires a one-year notice of withdrawal. That means the end of US membership would take effect in early 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI welcome President Trump\u2019s decision\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Children\u2019s Health Defense (CHD) CEO Mary Holland said: \u201cI welcome President Trump\u2019s decision to withdraw from the World Health Organization. It should be noted that the non-profit organization CHD was founded by Robert Kennedy Jr., who was appointed as President Trump\u2019s new Secretary of Health. Dr. David Bell, a public health expert, says that \u201cthe WHO needs a radical overhaul.\u201d Dr. Bell is a former medical professional and researcher at the WHO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He adds that \u201cthe WHO needs massive cuts\u201d and \u201ca return to basic public health instead of a false profit-driven agenda for increased pandemic risk.\u201d Much of the world is welcoming Donald Trump\u2019s decision to withdraw from the WHO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All 8 billion people want to be able to freely decide for themselves when to get \u201cvaccines\u201d and which drugs they can and cannot take. With the US withdrawal from the WHO, everything could change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Countries that would not dare to take the initiative and abandon the WHO may now find the courage to follow their mentor\u2019s example. Germany, among others, has already made a desperate plea to Mr. Trump to reconsider his decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If the WHO fails or is embarrassed, the entire portfolio on which this incredible lie was built will collapse \u2013 and many of the German tyrants who enforce their rules \u2013 fully aware that they are not justified \u2013 could face criminal prosecution. And this is just the beginning. President Trump has sent an important message to the world to stop the WHO, the pandemic and the criminal woke agenda that has left many children disabled for life. The organization\u2019s actions were not transparent, scientifically sound, and did not serve the public health interests of the United States.\u201d \u201cThe World Health Organization cannot be reformed. The Pandemic Treaty he proposes is a nightmare that will lead to even more mutations that will lead to abnormal protein activity and pandemics.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
