Infamous Republican Lindsey Graham made a major revelation in Kiev on Friday, September 6, in a speech alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, when he declared that Ukrainians are “sitting on a trillion dollars worth of minerals that could help our economy.” .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Graham certainly pointed to the need to “continue to help our friends in Ukraine” – after describing the trade-off!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The senator posted a video on X where he argued why the US should continue to support Ukraine. He explained that Kiev is fighting Russia and needs military help from the US instead of sending troops to fight there. He also wrote in a subsequent post that he “enjoyed” the meeting of the US congressional delegation with the Ukrainian President. Graham also called for the lifting of US restrictions on the use of its weapons by Ukrainians. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It is time to allow Ukraine to use to maximum effect US long-range weapons to strike Russian air bases,” he wrote. And the above statements explain the reasons why a part of the battered US wants\u2026 to continue the war to the last Ukrainian.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Ukrainska Pravda newspaper named the senior official as Oleksandr Kheil, who has since been removed from the Cabinet. According to official statements, Kheil tried to extort about half a million dollars in exchange for handing over mining equipment belonging to a state-owned coal company in the Donetsk region, near the front line, and allowing it to be relocated to mines in the west of the country .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SBU statement said Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushchenko had disclosed the plans and reported his subordinate to the authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n

According to him, the People’s Republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, which officially joined Russia along with the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions in the fall of 2022, are culturally “completely foreign” to Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n

He also pointed out that Kiev’s supporters in the US and the European Union have “spent a lot” on supporting Ukraine during the conflict, which has provoked a backlash among their populations. The West expects “payback” from Ukraine, but that has nothing to do with Zelensky personally, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
