The Ukrainian army has suffered more casualties during front-line fighting where Russian forces have the military initiative in all directions, Moscow said on Friday (19\/1\/2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the Kupyansk direction, Russian forces faced 25 attacks by the 32nd, 115th Mechanized, 57th Mechanized Infantry, 25th and 95th Airborne brigades. Ukrainian forces were pushed back to Tabaevka district in Kharkiv.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ukrainian losses amounted to over 560 soldiers, 10 tanks, eight armored fighting vehicles, 26 cars and eight guns. In addition, two ammunition depots were destroyed. In the Krasny Liman direction, Russian forces repelled 17 attacks by four Ukrainian brigades in Chervonaya Dibrova areas of Lugansk, Yampolovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as in the Serebryansk forest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Russian media, the Ukrainians lost up to 1,520 soldiers, one tank, 21 armored fighting vehicles, 34 cars as well as eight cannons. Heavy fighting took place in Kurdyumovka, Antonovka, Bogdanovka, Kleshcheyevka and Andreevka districts in the Donetsk People’s Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ukrainian losses in this direction amounted to more than 1,880 soldiers, 17 tanks, 27 armored fighting vehicles, two launchers of the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system, 86 cars and 28 guns. In the direction of southern Donetsk, the clashes were concentrated in the Novomikhailovka area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Ukrainians lost 965 soldiers (dead and wounded), two tanks, six armored fighting vehicles, one launcher of the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system, 24 vehicles and 15 guns. In Zaporizhia high intensity clashes were reported in Verbovoye, Malaya Tokmachka and Rabotino districts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The losses of the Ukrainian army in this direction amounted to up to 395 servicemen, one tank, nine armored fighting vehicles, 16 cars and 10 guns. In Kherson, three Ukrainian brigades clashed with Russian forces in the Mikhaylovka, Tyaginka and Ivanovka areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
