Lt. Gen. Mykola Olenshunk, Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, in a statement about the types of missiles used in the attack on the Russian shipyards in question said: “The British and French media are curious about the type of cruise missiles used by the Ukrainian pilots to send the ships Minsk and Rostov-on-Don in the same way as the cruiser Moskva.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He confirmed the use of both British Storm Shadow cruise missiles and French SCALP cruise missiles by Ukrainian forces, adding: “Both missiles are working perfectly and the conqueror has no chance!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This bold Ukrainian attack underscores the continued support of Western nations for Ukraine, exemplified by the UK’s delivery of Storm Shadow missiles to Kiev earlier this year.
With an impressive operational range, these missiles have significantly increased the Ukrainian military’s strike capability in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Russian answer for now in Kiev<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Over 12 warships will join the Russian navy this year, for a total of 14 in 2023.
