Turkey with its attitude and despite the approval of the sale of modernization kits by the USA for its F-16s, shows that it completely despises Washington and the West, co-deciding with its enemies, Russia-Iran-Syria on the future of the latter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a fact that Turkey’s relations with Russia and Iran, enemies of the West, during the Erdogan Presidency have reached their peak, in contrast to the US-EU which are in tension despite the fact that Ankara belongs to NATO, at least in theory, since the her actions show otherwise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The quadripartite meeting in Moscow<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Turkish state-run news agency, “the foreign ministers and intelligence chiefs of Turkey, Russia, Syria and Iran are to meet in Moscow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday’s summit aims to help bring peace to the region, says Turkey’s national defense minister. Hulusi Akar said the defense ministers and intelligence chiefs of Turkey, Russia and Syria met in Moscow on December 28 last year and decided to continue the meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Later, views were exchanged on Iran’s participation in these meetings. This was approved by the relevant authorities. As a follow-up to this session, this time as a quartet, we are preparing for a meeting in which both the Ministry of Defense and the intelligence chiefs will participate,” said Akar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOn April 25, this meeting is scheduled to take place in Moscow. Our aim is to resolve the issues through negotiations and bring peace and tranquility to the region as soon as possible.” Akar said several positive steps are expected after the meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that Turkey is determined in the fight against terrorism and aims to ensure that Syrians in Turkey return to their land voluntarily, safely and with dignity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The normalization process of Turkish-Syrian relations under Putin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We remind you that essentially the process of normalizing relations between Ankara and Damascus began on December 28, 2022, when the defense ministers of Russia, Syria and Turkey met in Moscow and discussed efforts to fight terrorism in Syria. The ministers agreed to set up a joint tripartite committee. Later, it was announced that Iran’s top diplomat would also take part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The above consultations were followed by the quadripartite meeting of the Deputy Foreign Ministers of Turkey, Russia, Syria and Iran, in Moscow on Wednesday March 15 and Thursday March 16, with the aim of creating the necessary climate for a future meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the above countries regarding the course of post-war Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Erdogan said in mid-December 2022 that he had suggested to his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, that a tripartite meeting be organized with the Syrian leader. The summit, according to his words, will be preceded by talks between the special services, the defense and foreign ministers of the countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why did Putin put Syria and Iran in the “game”?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was done for two reasons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first<\/strong><\/em> is Iran’s contribution to Putin’s side in the war in Ukraine by sending hundreds of UCAVs and drones. kamikaze, thanks to which Russia has destroyed almost 50% of Ukraine’s energy production and transmission infrastructure. Also in the “difficult” at the urging of Iran, the Shiite organization Hezbollah got involved in the war in Syria despite Assad’s side, pulling the “chestnuts” out of the fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
