The US found itself in a very difficult position after the leak of the classified documents of the Pentagon and the US secret services and it is considered its biggest loss in the field of intelligence since 2013 and the case of Wikileaks as it turned out that they are monitoring even their allies, something they will be held accountable for (once again).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is one strand, the most important ones have to do with the Ukrainian conflict. So far it has not been possible to find out who is behind this document leak and no one is sure if the revelations end here or if there will be more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, it is estimated that the leak was probably made by an American or a group of Americans. The authenticity of the photos, which are circulating on various websites, has not yet been publicly confirmed by the authorities, nor has it been verified by other sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Account of the war in Ukraine<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n One of the documents takes stock of the war in Ukraine until March 1, 2023, a year after the fighting began. Based on US Department of Defense Intelligence estimates, Russian casualties ranged from 189,500-223,000 men \u2013 of these 35,500-43,000 were killed in action and 154,000-180,000 were wounded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On the Ukrainian side, the dead are estimated to be between 15,500-17,500 and the wounded 109,000-113,500. These numbers are almost ten times higher than any tally Russia and Ukraine have announced to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Russia is reported to have lost more than 150 aircraft and helicopters, compared to 90 for Kiev.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Another “version” of the document, apparently redacted, instead states that Ukrainian casualties are greater than Russian ones, which appears to confirm Pentagon fears that the leak could potentially fuel disinformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ukraine’s air defense<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Ukraine’s air defense systems are in danger of running out of ammunition soon. According to documents dated February 2023, the SA-11 Gadfly system is estimated to run out of ammunition at the end of March (i.e. ran out) while the S-300 air defense system at the end of May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Both systems account for about 89% of Ukraine’s air defenses and are vital to deterring Russian missile attacks. This means that from now on the Russians will be able to launch as many missiles as they want undisturbed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u03a4he Ukrainian counterattack<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Equally important is the revelation that American officials believe that the Ukrainian counterattack, on which all the hopes not only of Ukraine but also of the West for a victory against Russia have been based, is not going to bring any impressive results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In particular, a “top secret” document points out that the US doubts Kiev’s ability to recapture important territory, as an assessment in early February shows a deficit in training and ammunition for the Ukrainian army. In fact, estimates indicate that due to the very well-organized defensive positions of the Russian army, Kiev will not be able to achieve its goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Liberal Globe had informed in time that the Russians have changed their tactics and are creating “Kursk” type pockets on which they will “incinerate” the Ukrainian forces and especially the western tanks. They know that if they “absorb” any Ukrainian counter-offensive, the war is basically over with a win for Moscow and Kiev will be forced to negotiate (and with it the West).<\/p>\n\n\n\n At this moment the Russians are strengthening their positions in key points of the Ukrainian front, where they know that the Ukrainians will be forced to “pass” their forces from there in order to carry out the big spring counterattack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The leaked documents also contain information gathered by US intelligence on the positions of Russian forces in Ukraine, which will apparently lead to a reduction or end to interception of communications and possible internal leaks in Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Russia is aware of US intelligence gathering methods and is already moving to better organize and close potential leaks in its intelligence system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Demonstrations in Israel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition, it is stated in these documents that the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad was behind the nationwide protests against the Netanyahu government and its plan for judicial reform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the documents, Mossad encouraged its staff and citizens to protest against the reform, which was eventually withdrawn thanks to the protests. The leaks also show that the US was spying on an important ally in the Middle East. What is certain is that M. Netanyahu, now that he has proof, will get “heads” in the Mossad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Concern over South Korean munitions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n But tension has also arisen in US relations with South Korea, as it appears that the Americans were monitoring another close ally of theirs. The leaked documents said South Korea was open to supplying the US with artillery shells to replenish US stockpiles, although the government was concerned about the diversion of such munitions to Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The South Korean presidency said that most of these documents were forged, while the opposition played down the fact that the US was spying on South Korea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Egypt as a hidden supporter of Russia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Another huge revelation of these documents is that Egypt reinforced Russia with about 40,000 122 mm rockets. According to these documents, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi had ordered the production and shipment of tens of thousands of rockets and shells to Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In fact, he had requested that this operation be carried out under conditions of extreme secrecy so that there would be no problems with the West. US congressmen argue that if this information is confirmed, then the US will have to change its entire strategy and relations with Egypt. But the truth is that the USA needs Egypt more than Egypt needs the USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Of particular importance is the revelation that another supposed US ally, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), was planning to work with Russian spies against the US and UK intelligence services. A document says that US intelligence wiretapping “caught” Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) – the successor to the KGB – claiming that UAE security officials agreed to this plan.
