Lately, tendencies to politicize every event\/accident or activity have been observed everywhere, resulting in the distortion of its essence and content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the European countries and in the USA respectively fatal air, sea, railway accidents respectively, there was never the slightest attempt to charge the respective governmental national or state Authorities. The issue is addressed at the level of analyzing the conditions, assessing the facts and identifying any human or service responsibilities. There was never even a thought about the culpability of the government or state authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, the trend of wild politicization of any events is starting to gradually expand almost everywhere. We see this especially in the US with the prosecution of former President Trump. Regardless of one’s sympathy or dislike for the former American president, it is a fact that the rule of law must prevail in all cases. And in the case of the prosecution against Trump, there are many doubts about this. The offense of paying money to Stormy Daniels’ occasional girlfriend, and not reporting it on his election expenses (!), is objectively no more than a misdemeanor. There is also the precedent of former Democratic vice presidential candidate Senator Edwards, in 2004, who in a similar case was only punished with a small fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Trump’s case, criminal intent (concealment of criminal acts from voters) was sought for 37 cases in fact (as many checks as were cut, for the same issue, in the name of Daniels’ lawyer)!! And this is done by a prosecutor who was elected in New York (according to American law, the highest judicial officials are elected by the people) with his platform of seeking to convict Trump. The mixing of politics with justice is more than obvious. Setting a disturbing precedent for American democracy. Of course, this can work communicatively in favor of Trump, who will be constantly in the news and emerges as the victim of a conspiracy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a democracy it is not possible to search the legislation to discover provisions in which to criminalize the acts of your opponents. The rational function is to prosecute only those who have committed crimes grossly condemned by all. In any other case, everything that happens in society is obviously politicized.
