The report states that the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled attacks in the areas of the settlements of Krasnogorovka, Bakhmut, Ivangrad, Klescheevka, Marinka, Pavlovka, Vodiane and Mayorsk in Donetsk region and Belogorovka in Luhansk region.

The Ukrainian General Staff reported attacks on Belogorovka in today’s reports, but said the enemy had been pushed back to that area. A day earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that they had hit the Chechen detachment “Akhmat” in Lisitsansk, near Belogorovka. The battle for this village on the border of Luhansk and Donetsk regions has been ongoing since spring.

At the same time, the Russian military Telegram channels write that Wagner is invading Belogorovka, in the Donetsk region on the Bakhmut-Lisitsansk highway. Belogorovka in the Lugansk region is raided by units of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Militias.

The Russian attack on Pavlovka near Uglendar also continues. Russian troops use Lancets en masse. The Russian Defense Ministry announced today that the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a counterattack near Pavlovka and Novomykhailovka, “but they broke up”, which the Ukrainian side has not confirmed. Ukraine also publishes a video of hit vehicles in Pavlovka.

The General Staff of Ukraine announced yesterday that Chechen units entered the left bank of the Kherson region, in the village of Novosofievka near Gola Pristan. In Kherson itself, judging by the video, many people remain (despite the fact that problems with electricity and communications continue).

On the front, judging by reports from various sources, mutual shelling took place today in the Pravdino area west of Kherson, but there was no serious advance of troops in one direction or the other.

In general, there have been no active movements on the front line in the last two weeks. At the same time, the Russians write that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing an attack.

British intelligence reports that Russia is building defense structures in the occupied territories of Ukraine, making significant efforts to prepare a defense in depth. Which will likely prevent any rapid advancement of the APU.

In a new report, British intelligence says that Russia has begun building defense structures around Mariupol. For this purpose, pyramidal reinforced concrete anti-tank structures known as “dragon’s teeth” are produced in two factories. “Dragon’s teeth” were probably settled between Mariupol and the village of Nikolskoge and between northern Mariupol and the village of Stari Krim. Also, they are additionally directed to the preparation of defensive fortifications in the occupied areas of the Zaporizhia region and Kherson.

The fact that the front line has stabilized in almost all directions and Ukrainian troops have not made new breakthroughs in the enemy’s defenses for a month, as happened in September in the Kharkiv region and Liman, is also noted by the Western media .

The arrival of conscripts at the front could help create the necessary defense depth for the Russians, which would complicate the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Previous successful offensive operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were usually based on rapid maneuvers of mobile groups of Ukrainian troops (followed by “heavy” mechanized units), which looked for weaknesses in the defense and, having found them, broke through the front and entered the rear of the Russian units, forcing them to retreat hastily to avoid encirclement. This tactic worked first because the Russians lacked the strength to create a continuous and well-fortified front line. And secondly, because in the rear there was no second or third line of defense to meet the Ukrainian troops who had broken through and cleared the advances.

The increase in the size of the Russian army makes it possible to create a second and third line of defense, as well as to strengthen the first line of defense.

According to information from various sources (including Ukrainian), the Russians were able to create a similar depth of defense in the Kherson region and are now rapidly creating it in Lugansk on the Svatovo-Kremina front line. Because of this, the front is not moving lately.

At the same time, both in the Lugansk region and in the Kherson region, Russian military Telegram channels are expecting new attacks from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stating that the Ukrainian army is reinforcing forces.

All Ukrainian offensives fail – Russia deploys conscripts to bolster defense depth – Russian offensive operations in dozens of regions of Ukraine.
