Donations will be accepted in the form of a one-off payment or recurring monthly payments made directly to \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb as described in these Terms and Conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n AGREEMENT<\/p>\n\n\n\n By donating, a donator agrees and acknowledges that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The donation is provided to \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb as an irrevocable gift, subject to any exercise of the donator\u2019s right to receive a refund as described below and \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb\u2019s right to return any donation at its discretion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The donation will be used by \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb to support its expert in-depth analysis and investigative journalism operations equally; and<\/p>\n\n\n\n The donation is made subject to these Terms and Conditions, which shall constitute a legally binding agreement between the donator and \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb (the \u201cAgreement\u201d), entered by each party in consideration of the other\u2019s obligations under these Terms and Conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n RECURRING DONATION PAYMENTS<\/p>\n\n\n\n You agree to pay your selected donation amount on a rolling monthly basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Recurring donation amounts can be changed by the donator only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You must provide us with complete and accurate payment information at the time you agree to pay a recurring monthly donation. Payment for your recurring donation can be made by credit or debit card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Your payments will be taken on a rolling basis and your recurring donation will continue unless and until it is ended by either of us in accordance with the provisions of section Refunds and Cancellation of Donations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n DONATIONS<\/p>\n\n\n\n Donations will be accepted from individuals as well as any other legal entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Donators who are individuals must be aged 18 or over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The maximum aggregate donations from any one contributor is \u20ac2,000\/\u00a32,000\/$2,000 (two thousand Euros, pounds Sterling, or US Dollars).<\/p>\n\n\n\n ADMINISTRATION OF DONATIONS<\/p>\n\n\n\n All donations to \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb shall be made through:<\/p>\n\n\n\n PayPal in the donations page on \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Whether you have an account, using your debit or credit card equally – simply entering the desired amount by clicking on the link button which is on the \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb donation page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Donations to \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb will be received by one of our payment providers and will be held by the provider until they are paid out to a regional \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb account together with other \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb funds. Each donation will be identifiable by a unique payment provider identification number and so are individually refundable and will be accounted for separately by \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n From the moment the donation is processed, \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb will be legally and beneficially entitled to the full amount of the donation and the donator has no entitlement to the return of a donation in any circumstances other than as specified in these Terms and Conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The donator shall receive no benefit in return for any donation and shall have no rights to influence the digital editorial policy or output of \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Donations to \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb are not charitable donations under the law of Greece, EU, England & Wales and, as far as \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb is aware, donators shall not be entitled to any tax relief in respect of their donations nor are any donations eligible for \u201cgift aid\u201d either in Greece, the EU, and the United Kingdom or in any other jurisdiction worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION OF DONATIONS<\/p>\n\n\n\n The \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb reserves the right to refuse and return any donation in its absolute discretion, including without limitation where it believes that accepting the donation would conflict with the mission, values or interests of \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb, and\/or where, having regard to the source of the donation or intentions of the donator, \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb considers that to accept the donation could damage the independence or reputation of \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb adversely affect the relationship of \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb with other donators or stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Donators shall be entitled to receive a refund of their donation for up to 14 days after receipt of payment by notifying \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb by email at donation contribute@liberalglobe.com<\/a>. Any requests for a refund of a donation received by \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb following expiry of the 14-day period will be ineligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Any refused and\/or returned donations shall be repaid into the account from which the donation was made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Recurring donations can be cancelled at any time, simply email contribute@liberalglobe.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cancellation requests will be confirmed within 48 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n TRANSPARENCY OF DONATIONS<\/p>\n\n\n\n The \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb reserves the right to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Request the full name and contact details of the donator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Request from the donator any other information that it considers to be necessary or desirable to determine the provenance of the donation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Undertake any further investigations it deems fit to determine the provenance of the donation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If the donator refuses to provide any information requested by \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb under section Refunds and Cancellation of Donations, \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb may refuse and return the donation to the donator at its discretion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CONFIDENTIALITY AND PUBLICITY<\/p>\n\n\n\n Donators shall not be entitled to publicise their donation or otherwise market themselves or any connected person or business in connection with their donation, except with the prior written consent of \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb and then only if the Donator complies with any relevant policies, procedures, or requirements of \u00abliberalglobe.com\u00bb.
